School Council
The purpose of our School Council is to provide a forum where parents/guardians, community and school staff representatives can meet to discuss items pertaining to Opeongo High School (OHS) and provide advice to the principal.
The School Council meets at 6:00 p.m. in the Library at least four times a year. The meetings include a report from the Student Council, a teaching staff member's report, a principal's report and any other agenda items that people wish to bring to the table. In the September meeting, the chairperson is elected for the school year. All meetings are open to OHS community members.
Contact
Please contact the Parent School Council Chairperson (Janice Hollingworth) or the School Principal for information on meeting dates, and if you wish to add an item to the agenda. Additions to agendas must be requested one week in advance of the meeting date so we are better able to address your concerns.
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
